The Arian Controversy According to DreamShaper V8 (follow-up to previous post about Religion)
Controversy indeed.
I had to add this somewhere. In the course of writing the previous post, I fed DreamShaper V8 the prompt, “the Arian controversy.”
To recap, the Arian controversy was a debate in the third-century Church about the divinity of Jesus. Alexandrian presbyter Arius took the position that Jesus was a creation of God, and Alexander, the bishop of Alexandria, took the position that Jesus and God were co-eternal, of the same being. This initiated the first ecumenical council, at Nicea, and helped to formalize what would be called the Nicean Creed.
